1965 MERCURY COMET CALIENTE. FRESHLY RESTORED, READY TO CRUISE OR SHOW. DEPENDABLE ENOUGH TO DRIVE ACROSS COUNTRY. THOUSANDS SPENT ON RESTORATION. QUALITY INVESTMENT CLASSIC.
Exterior was stripped and refinished in Raven Black base coat/ clear coat. Paint is as smooth and deep as glass. Recently wet sanded and buffed to a mirror gloss. Tasteful Red striping has been added. All striping was applied after the base coat, then clear coat was applied, so the stripes are sealed in with the color coat and there are no ridges or edges. All body panels were realigned after paintwork, so all gaps and fitment are precise. All chrome, stainless, and brightwork in excellent condition, as well as the glass. Cragar polished five spoke wheels. BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. Single Sport Mirror with remote.
Engine and engine bay are nicely detailed. Original C code 289 Cu. In. engine. Original Motorcraft carburetor with factory tag still attached. Chrome Ford Motorsports valve covers. Ford Motorsports headers with Walker Free Flow exhaust. C-4 Dual Range Automatic Transmission. 8" rear differential. Power Steering. Manual Brakes.
