| Lots of history with this truck. Originally built in 1959 by Al Coffern of Denver, CO. Known as "The Denver Dandy" it appeared on the cover of Hot Rod magazine in Dec. 1963. Al rebuilt the truck 6 more times over the years where it won numerous awards. In 1968 he redid the truck again adding the glass firewall, floor and bed. It appeared again in the 1968 issue of Hot Rod. Transformed once again in mid 1970's to its current state "Colorado Gold". Have all magazines this truck appeared in, all go with vehicle. (63 HRM, 68 HRM, and 76 Rod Action). Here are some of the specs on the truck as it is now. 1942 275 CI flathead. Offy manifold, 53 Merc cam and crankshaft. 8.5 :1 Silbolite pistons. Stromberg 97 carbs. Everything is chromed including the block itself. Chromed 39 Ford trans. Chromed 48 Ford rear. Front suspension is 42 Merc. Paint color is called Aztec Gold Pearl. Matching gold velvet interior. Bed, running boards and dash are birchwood. Top has been chopped 4 inches and body channeled 5 inches. The grill is also sectioned. This is your chance to own a one of a kind nostalgia rod straight out of the 70's with lots of cool hot rod history.
